Immotec’s business concept is to bring State of
the Art Wireless Access Control Systems to Residential
and commercial clients, thanks to Immotec’s Patented
solution that provides for access rights to be loaded onto
the keys rather than the identification of the authorized
keys into the access point controller.
Immotec has developed ADOMIS® based on Power Line Communication technology. PLC technology enables communication on the existing electricity grid. Thanks to the capillarity of the grid, this practically means ubiquitous data and voice communication. Immotec expects that new Vigik® installations will rapidly migrate to Adomis, as the technology offers to housing authorities the opportunity to install intercom systems without the need to (re)wire their buildings.
ADOMIS implements Vigik® and achieves collective security through the street panel interfacing with contact-free keys and intercoms within the apartments.
In addition, ADOMIS enhances individual apartment security with the inclusion of an alarm system within the intercom.
ADOMIS also enables building managers to remotely manage and invoice gas, electricity, and water consumption with remote meter reading.
Beyond those applications for which shipments have started, the local PLC network created by Adomis enables the deployment of various other applications, such as video surveillance, messaging, intercom, Internet access, and most IP based applications in the buildings where it has been installed.
